A college student on a quest to learn more about the disappearance of her father stumbles on a 70-year-old secret that marks her for assassination by the same mafia clan that forced her family into hiding. Inspired by events surrounding Las Vegas’ Moulin Rouge, the city’s first integrated resort.

Currently in development, the real Moulin Rouge opened May 1955 in Las Vegas' black community. It's operations, marketed as a legit business was owned and operated by the mob. Despite its success, including a cover on Time magazine, the place was closed under a cloud of suspicion six months later. The real reason for its closure is still unknown. The Moulin Rouge attracted the top stars of the day---Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack, Doris Day, Humphrey Bogart, Pearl Bailey, the young tap dancing duo the Hines Brothers and more. The greeter was none other than heavy weight champion Joe Louis. The 1960 accord that desegregated the Las Vegas Strip is known as the Moulin Rouge Agreement.
